Integrating Regional Central Bank Payment Infrastructure for UBA Across Mali and Guinea
Client:
UBA
Duration:
Ongoing
The Challenge
UBA required integration of national payment systems into its existing core banking environment across two markets, Mali and Guinea, including full connectivity to the BCEAO regional central bank infrastructure. The engagement demanded both a proven payments product and direct experience with central bank systems in the region.
Our Approach
Fasyl implemented and integrated its proprietary Xnett ACH (Automated Clearing House) and Cheque Truncation System (CTS) into UBA’s existing Finacle core banking environment across both markets, establishing direct connectivity to the BCEAO regional central bank infrastructure and enabling compliant payment processing across Mali and Guinea.
The Results
UBA Mali and Guinea achieved full integration with the BCEAO regional central bank payment infrastructure, enabling compliant ACH and cheque processing across both markets under a single, accountable delivery partner with established regional presence.
Why Fasyl
Fasyl’s proprietary Xnett payments platform and its established working relationship with central bank infrastructure across West Africa made it uniquely suited to this engagement. The combination of a proven product and hands-on central bank integration experience is rare on the continent and was directly relevant to the complexity of this programme.
